Canberra Fisherman's Club Inc. is a local sportsfishing club catering for the needs of the ACT's competitive and social fisherman alike.
Members of the Canberra Fisherman's Club are eligible to set Club Records, and upon payment of an ANSA (Australian National Sportfishing Association) affiliation fee, become eligible to also set Australian Records and World records (through ANSA's affiliation with IGFA - the International Game Fishing Association). Anglers who are not members of appropriately affiliated clubs are ineligible to claim records.
Our aims:
-To promote sport fishing
-To foster the art of angling
-To teach the art of angling to new members and particularly juniors
-To promote the study and conservation of fish species and the environment
-To co-operate with and support other bodies with similar aims and ideals.
